Yup, we made a day trip back in August. Shorts in the valley with a blizzard up top. But even here global warming raises its ugly head. We saw tarpaulins spread around protecting the snow.

Lay off the Gluhwein until after the skiing has finished. :mrgreen:

The first thing I'd ask is "How confident are you driving in snow with chains?"

An, off-the-top-of-my-head, answer is that the only difference is the shoes.

Skiers have breakfast in their ski stuff, go skiing, have dinner in their ski stuff, go skiing, and drink and party in their ski stuff.

Some have been known to sleep in their ski stuff. :D

There serious answer is that it depends on where you are.
