I'm with you on this Ross. Absolute tragedy of course, but Bandit, why do you immediately start to apportion blame when circumstances suggest accident.

And I am an older dude!
NEWS FROM LES GETS!!

Hi everyone. Just into second week out here and conditions are pretty good, if a little busy since Saturdays arrivals!!!

For peoples info, as per various threads, prices have not really changed much here. 3 Euros for a vin chaud, 6 Euros a pint.

I usually figure on around 500Euros a week for beer and lunches, and that is about how it is going. Just a shame my 500 Euros are costing me £150 more this year. :(

Never mind, has to be done. Enjoy ski-ing and a happy new year to all!! ;-)

PS I see we are due 30cm - Wahey!!!

I always thought the weight should be on the ball of the foot, making toes irrelevant?
Hi Hugh,

If you are looking to improve your ski-ing, dont be tempted to buy Blizzard's just because they are cheap. Its worth paying the extra few quid to get a pair that will not only suit your present standard, but will be advanced enough to take you forward as you improve.

Personally I cant see past Fischers, but any top make will have something for you.
Merry Christmas to you all

Blodyn1 - I am going to fall into Tony's trap and say I have had the warmest welcome anywhere in the land on the occasions I have been to your Welsh Wales. - Usually just after you have stuffed us at Rugby mind!!!!

I've also been to Southern England..................................

Having attempted to draw a line under this tangential discussion, it would appear that some dogs wish to continue gnawing the bone!!

Ok, as ise says, lets not assume that people are talking from a position of legal weakness!

To my mind the question, in any enlightened legal system, revolves around culpability, i.e. 'an act so reckless as to show utter disregard for the consequences'.

In those circumstances I wholly concur with the 'black caps' who would string the miscreants up and throw away the key.

However, lets not make a presumption of legal involvement, when a show of remorse and an apology can easily defuse the situation.
( And end up with a friend made over a reconciliatory gluhwein or two!!)
