Food, location were excellent and to be honest for a singles trip it would be fine but not for what we forked out for. Our organiser is going to be putting in a massive complaint to Crystal because if that is how they gauge the ratings of the hotels they use we will shop elsewhere for our custom.

Just checked trip advisor and the Hotel does have mixed reviews, you can't take trip advisor 100% ( Human nature being what it is) but it is a good Barometer

Edgeoftheworld wrote:I'm also looking for gloves and for a while had my eye on the White Rock ones listed above - pretty darn good for the price. Unless I find something better in the next couple of days I will get these so will let you know my verdict :D

just make sure that the gloves you buy are warm, sometimes it is the only piece of gear which worth spending the cash on 8)

The drive out of the country will be fun on sunday! The snow over the last 24 hours is the worst I have ever seen.

Don't you mean "best" you've ever seen?

It must be a nightmare when they close the lifts, just because its snowing hard.
I assume it was wind that caused the problem?
Luckily enough I've never been anywhere where they've closed the lifts, just found less people came out to play when it dumped it, strangely.

It seems to happen more in Andorra than the Alps ..... normally with just the one lift open

Tend to use cash myself .... but in France the French always seem to use credit/Debit cards all of the time.
Perhaps speak to the local tourist board 8)
