At 3.5 years of age!!! I wish I had started at that age :wink:

Ian, agreed, We think their brill, Mrs S and myself watch them in the resort they have no fear and it just comes so natural to them. Both our kids are now 24 and 21 and pretty good skiers now but they did'nt start until their teens.

We started our little one at three y.o she is now nine so you can imagine what she is now like, give her a couple more years and I'll be struggling to keep up.

Thats great Ian, i bet your Daughters skiing is the muts. It is our regret that we did not start skiing many, many years ago. We would have loved to have started our boys off skiing at that age. For our benefit, it would have been nice to ski without the aches and pains that age brings. Those were the days - when your legs worked :lol:

Is it really as expensive as I believe it is to take a kid skiing though? Their lessons are no cheaper are they? Lift passes free until age 5 in Austria though so I guess that makes up a bit. They grow out of clothes really fast too. New outfit every year...
I wish I could meet the person who first decided to strap 2 planks to their feet and throw themselves down a mountain

This year taking a "Dustbin lid " skiing ...... Lift pass €158, Lessons €103, Ski & boot hire €37 and a snowboard lesson and board hire €55 Total ....€353

And thats with out new ski suit, new snow boots and the chalet costs .... Anybody wanna a kid :wink:
