........ now the bad news woke up Sunday Morning with a painful left knee got it strapped with one of those heat pads on, got until saturday to get rid, it does feel a lot better tonight
Oh no Ian, how awful  I hope it gets better fast :D
Tony - what did you do to your shoulder? I hope it doesn't hurt too much when you're ski-ing and you have a good time :D
That was my worry number 1 on Iceman's Hate Ski-ing thread - that I'd hurt myself before I went
I am feeling rather sad myself, as it was this week I would have been ski-ing if everything had gone according to plan

I should have been skiing this week too Ally, fortunately I changed it to the following week so I still have 4 sleeps.
SUPER excited now! Three more days of normal work :)

I appear to have damaged the ligaments. The only way I can see that having been caused was through loading clients cases into the cars. Sounds ridiculous, but apart from that theres nothing else I could have done.
I ought to sue my employer.

Wickers - I also have a dodgy knee. From reading up on it, you should ditch the heat pad - heat is a no no apparently. Follow the RICE treatment ie Rest, Ice, Compress, Elevate. It took mine 2 weeks to recover and it's still not 100 per cent. Good luck.

Oh dear Tony, poor you (I could really do with that violin playing picture you very kindly put up for me about my back). Have you been to see a chiropracter/osteopath/physiotherapist or someone?
I find the doctors and physios recommend heat and my osteopath cold - so I have one of those gel bags I can either heat or freeze
I am in the same position as you - self-employed. So I usually get on with it and manage somehow bad back or not
Anyway, I hope you're better soon :D
