Thanks for that but Rest ... I'm self employed, Ice .... I'll try that, Compress..... I have two supports on at the mo, Elevate .... Chance will be a fine thing.

Just returned from five hours in the car and it is a bit as stiff as a poker but not a lot of pain.

Had a barney today with a copper outside Terminal 3 , I asked this pretend copper if I could pop in the terminal for a quick pee as I had just dropped off a client, the pretend copper was fine and gave me two Minutes parking time for a quick pee pee.
I get back to the car and this proper copper is giving me a ticket, I was very polite and suggested he ask his mate the pretend copper to confirm he had allowed me the two minutes pee pee time which did not seem to go down too well with him, after exchanging a few heated words,
he told me to pee off and if he saw me again he would book me, I did tell him that I do not normally stop here for a pee pee so there was not much chance of that and he should have more consideration for old people with weak bladders ......He did not see the funny side...Knob

While we talking injuries, the achilles will be getting a test on Friday at Milton Keynes - not sure what will happen if it's no good as I only have 5.5 bed sessions until Zwieselstein!

I appear to have damaged the ligaments. The only way I can see that having been caused was through loading clients cases into the cars. Sounds ridiculous, but apart from that theres nothing else I could have done.
I ought to sue my employer.

Oh.......

Oh dear Tony, poor you (I could really do with that violin playing picture you very kindly put up for me about my back). Have you been to see a chiropracter/osteopath/physiotherapist or someone?

I find the doctors and physios recommend heat and my osteopath cold - so I have one of those gel bags I can either heat or freeze

I am in the same position as you - self-employed. So I usually get on with it and manage somehow bad back or not

Anyway, I hope you're better soon :D

Well NHS has been pathetic. My doc put me on ibuprofen, I went back as there was no improvement in 6 weeks, they changed the drugs to a different anti inflam but it was a LOT worse inside a week so I went back to Ibuprofen, still no improvement and they said they'd refer me for physio. Guess what....the doc I was (covering for my own) FORGET to refer me so I decided to go and see a private Osteo. He has said I need referring to shoulder specialist so wrote to my GP who I saw this morning, and who seemed offended I went to a private osteo!!! Anyway, I have an appointment at the hospital when I come back from Austria in 2 weeks so they can finally find out whats wrong. In the meantime, the osteo is doing some manipulation on it as hes pretty sure its a complete tear to the posterior fibres of the deltoid on one side but wants an ultrasound to confirm this before he continues with much more work on it.

Good old NHS eh?

Ive not had any issues like that at LHR but I always need a pee when I drop clients off.
Just drive round to the Renaissance Hotel on the Bath Road where you can park for free, theres a Starbucks and toilets in the hotel.
Or theres a MacDonalds over the road.

T3 seems to be the one where if theres trouble you'll get it.

ANYWAY, 4 sleeps to St Christoph
