Hi again guys and galls,

If like me you do not have a scanner or access to one which you will need to fill in the online claim form for refunds for cancelled flight and associated costs involved, i have jst dig out an EasyJet phone number which after a few minutes will let you talk to a human being which is 0781 244 2377, and after speaking to a nice lady called Julia, she informed me that if you do not have a scanner etc ,or a digital camera which will not provide a clear enough picture of your reciepts etc to import into the online claim form.

You can submit your claims by post, which you will need to include a covering letter , photcopies of the original bills and recepits for your costs incurred and send them by recorded delivery to the address below

OH is still here, and I'm just back from Zermatt. His flight got cancelled, and so he decided to work from here, the view is better :D
Reckons he's going tomorrow, we shall see.

Wickers I'm surprised you are able to go on holiday or do anything with the amount companies that are probably on your list :twisted:

I don't know anyone that got stranded abroad but have at least 5 friends who haven't been able to go on holiday over the past week and you have to feel sorry for a girl in our office who couldn't go on her honeymoon at the weekend.


Thats why he drives & uses his own car. )

There was ample profiteering going on by the sound of it.
One of my partners was in La Tania - the chalet company wanted E200 each to take them to Calais.

He rang our manager who arranged a local coach firm (GH Watts of Leicester) to drive out & pick their party and another group - 28 in all at £90 a head including the crossing & drop offs at airports to collect cars.

There have been a few samaritans out there. I'm a big fan of karma, what goes around and all that.

Some of the airports weren't charging the extra parking fees which is nice of them.

Echo that Nelly, my OH is now en route to Zurich for a night flight to LGW. His airport hotel where he left his car on the 6th, seems pretty laid back about his massive overstay.

Might want to take the picture of the P&O ferry off your website then...

...and make up your mind what colour your car actually is ;)

Other than the dodgy images your website is actually pretty slick. Got to love the Mac.
