I hope it all works out well for you. I did the same as you - moved out of London and the 'rat race' but I emigrated when I was only 19. I've never regretted it.
So, is your OH giving up his job as well, or can he work from home? It's not a bad idea to have some money still coming in regularly when you start a new business, especially to begin with. I have found that start up costs always seem to be more than I have anticipated, and it takes a while to start making a profit.

The amount of time I have had off work together with all the skiing I've done has made me realise, even more, how much I don't want to go back to school. Hubby is a sound engineer and musician so will have plenty to do if we do end up running a bar! It's scarey but also exciting...Really need to sell the house before we can do anything though.
