I read it ages ago and just picked it up the other week. Go for it! Finished it in 2 days

I'm only reading it because my daughter has to do it for English Lit A Level and she brought it with her to Tignes, as well as several other books.
I used to read a great deal when I was younger - mostly classics plus detective novels. I would think I've read several hundred books in my time.

For the last 3 hours I've been reading an overview of the NHS Knowledge & Skills Framework & have subsequently lost the will to live :(

Salski,
I read The Island and enjoyed it too. I'd be interested to hear what anyone thinks of her next book, The Return, though.
It was not as good - too full of coincidences. (I've put you off reading it now!)
Am currently reading a book by Mary Higgins Clark, not fantastically well written, but an easy read. Reading is one of main enjoyments and I reckon I read 3 books on average a month.

I would like to read more, time seems to be the big issue, I must say I mainly tick to Autobiographies 8)
