Well I am quite interested in how those very clever P&S cards work.
I was very surprised at something that happened to me last time I was ski-ing. I bought a ski pass just for the Meribel valley (because it's a lot cheaper than the 3V pass), and then the ski instructor said that the following day we'd be going to another valley. So I bought a one day extension to the 3V pass. But then we didn't go so I went back to the office to cancel it and change it to the following day, but the woman said it would work okay.
And the following day, when we did ski to Courchevel, my pass worked perfectly.
So, I am wondering if the start date you buy the pass for doesn't actually matter and it just goes from the first day you use it. When you re-charge the cards on the internet they always ask you for the start date. But if my theory is correct then if you turned up a day late you'd still get the same number of days on your pass. Has anyone tried this?
And I think it's very interesting that P&S cards for other resorts will also work. I didn't know that and I bought a new card for the new resort, so I wasted 3 euros.
