Help us out snowb4ndit - which one's Wickers? I think you need to add his new bobble hat so we can tell...

Hello there. Is a whole week (Sun.-Sun.) too long? Do you consider Italy or Austria? I was looking at Colletts web.: they offer accommodation + transfer from Venice, place is part of Sella Ronda, Corvala? You arrange your own flight. I am in the same situation, love skiing, girlfriends are just not interested...

Strewth! He shaves his legs! Who knew???

Damn, I'd better reprimand myself for wibbling... back to the question.

PenRs - if you like the look of La Clusaz (short transfer from GVA, nice village and good skiing) I can recommend a family-run chalet who would make you very welcome I'm sure.

Can thoroughly recomend Collett's - have doen both group and solo trips with them and alwasy been looked after superbly and always found a great group to ski with.

I'd tend to go for the Haus Valentin accommodation if going solo or just a few of you, although it's that bit further off the main circuit it's got nicer social areas and catering for about 30 theres less chance of you ending up just filling in the one room a big party didn't take. Always very social and the hosts/guides get everyone mixing well.

Going again with them in December - that's 4 years in a row.... nuff said.

Have also used these guys when I'm going solo or with a mate with very different ability to me and usually nicely mixed group (sex/age/ability). Will be doing start of seasojn with them in Kaprun this November.
