I am married with 2 kids and we ski every year, but its just not enough for me. I have been trying to set up a girls' ski weekend for ages and my friends are just not interested. I am an intermediate skiier looking to just have full days on the slopes, nice lunches, few glasses of wine in the evening but then up early for the slopes every day. Looking at mid-Jan in France - something about GBP500ish Thurs-Sundayish. Anyone interested? Or am i the only ski-freak woman in the UK??

Sounds lovely! Unfortunately I can only manage one ski holiday a year, I'd love to do more but don't have the holiday time or the money to :(

I'd love to go with you, but unfortunately I am rather short of money at the moment and I can't afford another ski holiday - maybe another year?

I hope you find someone - it sounds like a great idea to me :D I also have lots of friends who aren't interested in ski-ing and I'd hate to ski on my own.

Take a look at Karibuni (Skiweekender)- they ski La Clusaz and Le Gand Bornand. We went a couple of years ago, you book your flight to Geneva and their prices include chalet board, pick ups from airport and ski guiding. They didn't charge extra for singles either. Whole set up really friendly and professional - we had a great time.

I'll be in Morzine, message me if that's where you end up.

Blimey, I'm surprised you can turn those Legends with such skinny legs Wickers

PenRS, is a whole week away too long? You might do well getting a room or a share in a chalet. That way you get plenty of folks to ski with.
