Weather this season

The driest winter in 60 years over here. I think I will take even an average season in terms of snow next year. Anything will be better.

We have been very lucky, in what has been a dreadful year for snow. Obergurgl in December was great with our first real experience of skiing powder during the white week. Andorra in February (the first week) was clinging on by its fingernails. A thin hard pack and lots of ice however, bluebird days and still skiing the mountain. Serre Chevalier in March, great snow up the mountain suffering lower down in the afternoons but you could still ski right to base camp, apart from Briancon of course.
