.....do people still wear them?
My first time skier wife has bought a couple off ebay. She's convinced it's the way to go. I didn't think people still wore them anymore!
What about you lot on here? One piece or two separates?

The only acceptable 1 piece suits come from Scandinavian companies:

Women look pretty cool in them but unfortunately you still see a lot of men wearing them

I bought one for my elder daughter, years ago, because it was on special offer. It does look very good, and it keeps her very warm, but unfortunately it makes things very awkward when she wants a pee, because you've got to take the top half off as well as pull the bottom half down
But if you fall over a lot it does stop the snow going up your back or down your trousers, because it doesn't fall apart in the middle as can happen if you're wearing ski trousers instead of salopettes or a one piece.
I have seen quite a few ski instructors wearing them.

I am haunted by the story of someone's coat getting caught on the drag lift and whipping it off along with all her upper wear so she stood there topless! Probably not even true! But I am not taking the risk so where can I get one of these all-in-one little numbers? Wel it is a better look than the topless on the slopes look!!

Oh yes - but not by me.
I think you need to be a specific shape to fit those things well and I'm not it.
For what it's worth women seem to look better in them than men do.

It's only a slope.

We saw a corking zebra print one piece in Chamonix last week. It won our "outfit of the week" award

Having spent most of the evening taking the proverbial, it transpires that she bought two because one is a woman's and the other is a man's....to cut a long story short, she expects me to wear a red ski suit...it's been 10 years since I last went on a skiing hol and I certainly don't want to look like I've just stepped out of a time machine!! What to do, huh?!
