I am most definitely me. And anyway, it's generally pretty easy to identify someone's writing style.
Like, for example, if someone posing as me makes a bad spelling or grammatical error he/she is not me (unless I have a very bad case of flu or I get another of those really frightening letters from the taxman threatening me with penalties of £60 per day if I don't submit my tax return). Like that poor detective Monk, I simply can't survive knowing I have made a mistake, without correcting it. I also tend to write in essay style unless I'm in a dreadful hurry.
And, to bring the subject back to ski-ing - I think it's pretty easy to identify someone by their ski-ing style. The one going straight down the hill at a breakneck speed is probably my younger daughter, and the person going very carefully in neat little zig-zags is probably me.

Joaquín Guzmán Loera wrote:I think someone will have to post photographic proof that Ian Wickham is not just Fred Drifts brother and therefore one of Tony Hs many sock puppets (one of whom, as we have already established is ise). Rumor has it Tony H has 1/6th of the usernames on this site.
How interesting how your posts have dramatically changed in such a short space of time.
Sock puppets: "A sockpuppet is an online identity used for purposes of deception within an online community. In its earliest usage, a sockpuppet was a false identity through which a member of an Internet community speaks with or about himself or herself, pretending to be a different person,[1] like a ventriloquist manipulating a hand puppet.
In current usage, the perception of the term has been extended beyond second identities of people who already post in a forum to include other uses of misleading online identities. For example, a NY Times article claims that "sock-puppeting" is defined as "the act of creating a fake online identity to praise, defend or create the illusion of support for one's self, allies or company."[2]
The key difference between a sockpuppet and a regular pseudonym (sometimes termed an "alt" which is short for alternate, as in alternate identity) is the pretense that the puppet is a third party who is not affiliated with the puppeteer."
Interesting to note that Ise is a claimed sock puppet of mine. He regularly watches this site but has not posted for some time. I think he might have something to say about that comment you made, as he most definitely is a real person!
Fred Drift no longer posts, he has been banned, and he was definitely nothing to do with Wickers.
Maybe paranoia has crept in since you last posted on this website under one of several previous pseudonymns. Admin, how did you let this "person" sneak under your radar again??????
