Nothing to be embarrassed about we ski because we enjoy it, technically after all the years I have skied I'm not the greatest in the world by far I just enjoy it. I am lucky to ski a couple of weeks per year
so Improvement will always be slow. Still I'm happy where I am, I'll get the wife to Video me on our next holiday so you can all have a laugh. :D

That would be great if you could get your wife to video you ski-ing. At least you will look nice and slim in your video now :D

I didn't think anyone would laugh in a nasty sort of way, at anybody's ski-ing videos - or I wouldn't have put mine up :shock:

I don't think there's a perfect skier anywhere. Even the top international ones have coaches to help them improve. And I'm sure we all ski with our own style, which reflects not only our physical body shape but our personalities as well.

I'm happy where I am, I don't want to enter any competitions or anything. I just want to go to the top of the mountain and ski down without falling over...That I can do so I am happy! :D

If I was younger and more fit I would definitely try a bit of freestyle! :lol:

Congratulations on being able to ski all the way down without falling over! I fell over twice in Tignes, in only 3 days - no videos of me falling over - sorry :lol:.

I must admit, though, that I do like to push myself a bit. I am hoping that I get to do slalom training in Feb, but the price negotiating with the ski school is taking rather a long time, and it may be too difficult for me.

I just watched Snowbandits video, looks like you are a competent relaxed skier, same as me. No one is perfect, and we could all improve but I am the same as you - I want to go up a lift and down a slope or something covered in snow, and I can.
Liking the gear, red and white looks well smart. Front cover of last seasons S&R catalogue....?
