Good news that some of you think this is also a nice idea. But as Wickers has said organising such a get together isn't plain sailing! So if you fancy it let me know when is a good time and we can see what we can arrange. I am very lucky as my sister lives in Manchester and I can be totally flexible. Just going to have to work on those thighs sooner than I thought- should have taken up bowling- much less hassle!

Clubman- I can also do Castleford as well as Chill Factore. How up north are you?

Castleford suits me fine too..I am in Sheffield so its not too far to either

I'd be interested in a get together at either venue. I'm based on Teesside but I don't mind travelling. My only concern would be getting time off work midweek, as I start a new job at the beginning of November and don't want to push my luck asking for holidays right at the start. A weekend wouldn't be a problem though. :D

Tell me about it. I live in South Lincs and Londoners think I am from Northumberland or something, and Northerners think I was born and bred in Romford.

Most Saturdays (though not the one coming up) are fine by me - given a little notice.

I have been to Cas a few times but have never been to the Chill Factore, I think they are about the same distance from our house its just that ones outside Yorkshire. Still I'm sure I can find my passport for the day.

Right! About 8 of us have said maybe so let's go for it. Firstly, it suits more of us to go to Castleford than Chill Factore. So how about a two hour ski sess at Castleford one Saturday in November? I can do any Saturday so I suggest people let me know if they are interested and when they CAN'T go and hopefully we can arrange something for definite. Probably easier to send me a private message. Afterwards maybe we can have a drink/something to eat- I have twice eaten at the Italians there and it is very good! well, it is a four hour round trip, with my 12 year old in tow, so have to make it worth her while! Sue

Hi, I can't go Sat 7th, Sat 14th so I can go on the 21st and 28th of November at the moment :)
