Not actually skied at Castleford but have been there a couple of times just for a look around and must say that the Chill Factore would be my choice, and having skied there on numerous occasions it's been enjoyable, plus the facilities are relatively new'ish. But location wise if it's to attract as many from 'oop North as possible then people may say Castleford is more accessible ...
I decided to have a life change and be more spontaneous. Starting tomorrow.

Havent skied at Cas, but have been into the place and it doesnt look great. Have skied at Chill Factor, its longer so you'd get more out of it. I didnt enjoy the indoor experience much, but it was better than not skiing I guess.

Don't fancy joining us then Tony, it's not often we manage to get a day away from the Jam Butty Mines you know - you can be the token 'daft apeth' for the day ) :D

Northern monkeys! Bloody cheek! Think I may try Chill Factore, just can't decide whether a drive down south (ugh!) is worth the effort or just wait until I go skiing for real again. 14 weeks and counting!

I'm from Birmingham originally and now live with the big softies down south, don't count myself as a northerner though, I'm a midlander. Won't be able to make it anyway :cry:
