8th Jan and im off to La Plagne, belle plagne.
Cannot bloody wait.

Ally, it was with crystal. They have some specials on certain holidays.

£1501 all in, i just need to see about some lessons but i am waiting on that till i see what level the good lady will be at!

No, not with lift pass, that would be ridiculous. Mind you, I did that in ADH in Jan as passes were £10 each!

That sounds like a really great deal. Well done for getting it, and I hope you have a fantastic holiday. Sometimes the tour operators can come up with some very cheap holidays.

When my second daughter was young we had some really good deals, where she got a totally free holiday - free flights, accommodation, and ski pass, lessons, and ski hire.

I can't even think about next years trip any more, as I found out last weekend that there might be 3 of us, rather than just two next year i.e. I would have a 4 month year old in tow...!!! It's going to be a rather sober trip next week - we leave tomorrow!

Really gadgetgirl, how exciting! Oh well, there's nothing like starting them off young, and 6 weeks or whatever gestation sounds pretty young to me. Just think, they'll have been down a red run, and maybe even a black one, before they're even born :shock:

I wouldn't worry too much about the effect of ski-ing on the baby, at an early stage like that they're pretty small and well protected. I just hope you're feeling okay, and not sick or anything.

I remember (more wibble everyone) when I was about 6 weeks pregnant with my second daughter, my husband and I were training a new heifer to walk through the milking parlour and she rushed the door and totally flattened me against a concrete block wall. I was really worried because I was pretty badly squashed, but the baby was fine (she's the one going off piste now and telling her old mother to hurry up and ski faster).

So I'd say just ski sensibly (no somersaults or whatever they're called in the snowpark) and you'll be fine.
