I can remember once, my younger daughter got her shoelace stuck in the escalator, at the bottom of it, when she was quite young, and it was really frightening. For a moment, she couldn't move, and everyone had to sort of jump over her. I was just about to push the red panic button when I managed to get the shoelace out. I suppose I could also have pulled her shoe off, but I didn't think of that at the time because I was too busy panicking :shock:.
Getting your ski stuck in a tree when you're on a chair lift would be a bit like that, I suppose, only much worse.
She is accident prone, but not (so far anyway) when she's on skis. Unlike me, she hasn't seriously hurt herself yet.
