I'm afraid my experience of queues/ski trashing in St Anton were worse than in France.

It happens in every resort I have been to, I can't comment about A.

I don't mind the odd accidental nudge from the person behind, and it happens everywhere. What I do hate is the person behind literally climbing all over your tails, esp as their my skis and not rentals. By far the worst examples of this for me came in France, Montgenevre and Serre Che to be precise. MontG was every single queue, and Serre Che was an isolated incident when a French guy decided to push through everyone and ski right across everyones skis, big mistake when he got to me!
Mayrhofen had some bad mannered Germans but as long as you're firm and let them know you won't tolerate it it seems to stop. The look of shock on their faces when you turn round and give them a bollocking is quite amusing.

I'm with SB on St Anton. For example, I got pushed to the ground by a German speaker in a lift queue there. The guy just decided that he was going in front. The lifties grabbed him, and took his details, as I took quite a fall and suffered substantial bruising to the back of my pelvis.

Outrageous. If someone had done that to my wife, I'd have taken a ski to his throat.

Similar thing happened to me only i managed to keep my balance...Guy was actually barging me out the way to let his son through!

It happened in bar queues too. Another german speaking man put his hands on my shoulders and moved me aside to get past me and order a drink...I was queueing for drinks too arrogant g i t!
