Went to a better resort on 5th day, but waited nearly 2 hours for last bus home. Dead busy and everyone pushed on- as I was at front of queue I shouted at bus driver that I was on that bus and if necessary I would throw someone off the bus! Totally showed myself up! To add insult to injury I left my ski on back of bus so had to wait for it to go around again to face same bus driver to retrieve lost ski! Why my kids find me embarrassing I will never know!

And hubby got flu after 3 days skiing! Holiday from hell!

I remember you, you were the mad lady at the front of the bus.

Shouldn't really laugh at other peoples misfortune but know exactly where you are coming from with that one Sued. Must confess to a wry smile appearing on my face as I read your 'nightmare'.

Luckily those lovely passport office people in Peterborough sorted it all out without any fuss.

14.5 hour delay coming back from Tignes last year wasn't pleasant. A 9am Chambery flight became a 11.30pm Grenoble one. It was only because the pilot coming to collect us from the gate that we got away at all!

Stepping out of a ski on the North Face of the Valuga wasn't the best of moves. It ended up 200m below us and I had to get down a silly steep pitch on one ski.

Just looking at that slope is enough to give anyone nightmares.

^That looks fun!
Was couple years ago in France me and my buddy decided to have a little fun off piste on this possibly 12ft jump into the fluffy stuff; however misjudged it and didn't realize there was a pretty deep hole right bellow it, hesitated at the edge and feel straight in, ski's were all over the gaff and spend about 1/2 hours looking for it, not major but i bloody panicked because i was pretty much trapped in the hole and we couldn't find my ski's :S !
A beer a day keeps the doctor away

I really was the mad woman at the front of the bus! I was having a girly hissy fit at the Austrian bus driver who was not understanding my language at all! Had had a really tough skiing day and I could not move I was so tired! If I had not got on the bus I think I would have lain down in front of it. Mature or what! I am normally quite reserved and quiet! Honestly! :-D
