cannae wait

:( I think you are going to find that viewing the slalom is going to depend on whether the Tennis or Snooker eejits are able to finish on schedule :!:

Yeah but won't be long til the tennis is finished.

Fully agree though-is the most frustrating thing! At least if the skiing is off due to weather they put on old races or interviews-not the last frame of bob nobody vs jimmy hasbeen!

Just checked the calendar for when I'm in Val D'Isere. 4 world cup races over 2 days!

10 Dec
Mens Giant Slalom
Womens Super-Combined

11 Dec
Womens Super G
Mens Slalom

Men's races on La Face
Women's on Solaise, both the finishes are next to each other.

Should be there early enough to see the introductions on the Friday night too.

Lucky you
Great fun to watch - don't forget to get some skiing in as well though

When Val hosted the premiere neige downhill on the old OK course that finished in La Daille I was there 3 years running and also had a great hol over the 1992 olympics. Our apartment overlooked the finish and podium at the bottom of La Face - great views.

Enjoy ....

 I was in Val a few years ago when Bode won the combined (all the others were cancelled). The atmosphere was fantastic.

On a slightly different note, the slalom in Levi has now been cancelled/postponed due to it being too warm to even make any snow, let alone have any natural stuff on the piste. Have to wait till Nth America now for our next fix of World Cup action.

Men do Lake Louise first on the 23-27 November, then move on to Beaver Creek from the 30 November.

The women go to Aspen 26/27 November, then Lake Louise from the 29 November.

This is one of the competitors in the Woman's downhill on the Orange/OK downhill course in Val D'Isere last year. Good view from the lift.
