The Ski Show followed by the first televised Alpine Skiing from Solden - on a run I did in January - really feels as though the season has kicked off.
My run was probably a little slower than they are recording.
Its good to be back.

I also saw the skiing on Eurosport earlier and thought the same thing!!
Dustings of snow at Cairngorm this week as well, hopefully an early start to the season here in Scotland!

Was up at the Kleine Matterhorn yesterday. -11 degC and 61km/h wind  Brisk it was, but once of the top quite good, pistes in great condition, the Theodulgletscher was open so first chairlift rides of the new season. As much as it"s nice geting out in August and September (on cable cars and t-bars), it don't properly feel like winter until the chair lifts are opening.
Snow forecast this afternoon, so just chilling, watching Grand Prix and Skiing whilst staring out the window. Long weekend here next weekend, some mates coming down for a few days riding, happy days )

He's only posting this stuff to wind you up! Only 2 runs open in Zermatt today. I did see a hillfrog sitting down in front of the Webcam at Trockener Steg. Thought it might be Tino...but it seems there is another snowboarder in the resort :P

I've always wanted to watch the scenery change with winter on the way, I'd love to be there. That's why I guess I'm so obsessed with webcam stalking :)
