Skiing

The Balsams boasts a variety of ski areas spread across 1,000 acres. With elevations reaching 4,500 feet, notable pistes include the challenging 'Upper Rosebrook' and the scenic 'Moose Alley', serviced by the efficient 'Rosebrook Summit' and 'Dixville Notch' lifts.

The Balsams offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.

 By Air

The nearest airport to The Balsams is La Guardia NY, 24 minutes drive away.

JFK New York, Long Island, Westchester Co, Newark Liberty, Stewart, Tweed-New Haven, Lehigh Valley, Philadelphia and Bradley airports are all within three hours drive.

Traveling to The Balsams is straightforward via Interstate 93, with the nearest major airport in Manchester, NH. From there, a scenic drive takes you through the beautiful New England countryside.
