Skiing

Sugar Mountain features over 115 acres of skiable terrain and a vertical drop of 1,200 feet. Highlights include the popular Big Birch and the newly improved Upper and Lower Flying Mile runs, along with the Sugar Mountain Resort ski lifts, such as the Summit Express and the Easy Street.

Sugar Mountain offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Sugar Mountain is Tri-Cities Regional, 94 minutes drive away.

Asheville, Charlotte Douglas, Friedman Memorial and Greenville airports are all within three hours drive.

Sugar Mountain is conveniently accessible via US Highway 321. The nearest major airport is Charlotte Douglas International Airport, located about two hours away, providing a straightforward route to the resort.
