Skiing

Holiday Valley boasts a well-designed layout with 13 lifts servicing its varied terrain. Notable pistes include the challenging 'Yodeler' and the popular 'Buckshot', which cater to both advanced and beginner skiers. The mountain features a vertical drop of 750 feet, ensuring plenty of exhilarating runs.

Holiday Valley offers good sking, particularly, for Expert and Intermediate skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Holiday Valley is Jamestown, 53 minutes drive away.

Bradford, Buffalo Niagara, Rochester, DuBois, Franklin and Toronto Pearson airports are all within three hours drive.

Bradford, Buffalo Niagara and Jamestown are just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Holiday Valley is easily accessible by car, located about 70 miles from Buffalo. The most recommended route is via I-90 and NY-219, making it a convenient destination for weekend trips.

The 13 ski lifts are able to uplift 22,000 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Snow-making is available, with 200 snow cannons.

Season Dates

When is Holiday Valley open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is late November, and usual closing is Early April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.

Aprés Ski

After a day on the slopes, unwind at the popular 'John Harvard's Brew House' or enjoy live music at 'The Gin Mill'. These venues provide a cozy atmosphere for relaxation and socializing.
