Hi All,

Due to an unforeseen at work we're having to sell our winter holiday to Sestriere on 14th December for a week.

Absolutely gutted but it can't be helped :(

Its for a twin room, half board with Ski Carriage & Lift Pass.

Details are as follows:

Number of Travellers: 2
Holiday Provider: Crystal Ski (Full packaged holiday covered by ABTA).
Destination: Sestriere, Italy.
Accommodation: 4* Hotel Du Col. Twin Beds, Private Bath & WC (http://www.crystalski.co.uk/ski-resorts/italy-ski-holidays/sestriere/hotel-du-col/)
Board Type: Half Board
Lift Pass: Full Area Lift Pass Included x 2
Ski Carriage: Included x 2

Departs: Sunday 14th December @ 06:20
Returns: Sunday 21st December @ 10:45

From Manchester Airport.

We've already paid up in full for the whole holiday and Crystal are going to charge an extortionate amount of money to change it to another date (70%); so we need to sell. We'll just get the names on the tickets changed to whoever purchases it.

Its on the Crystal website now for £554.00 per person.

We're looking to get back £700.00 for the holiday (which will cover the £100.00 they're going to charge us to change the names on the tickets); so that's a 30% discount on what was already a good price.

£350.00/each for 4* Half Board inc. lift pass and ski carriage can't be grumbled at can it!!

It's already started snowing there and due to the fact they had a winter Olympics there they've also got some really good snow making facilities if needed.

If you want any other information don't hesitate to get in touch...

Thanks

Clare

Awww looks like we'll miss you all, 6 of us have just booked for 3oth Jan.

Never been before but can't wait all the reviews seem good!

If anyones there at the same time let us know - mixed ages, 4 skiers and 2 boarders and intermediates with one beginner (who'll probably be teaching us all a thing or two by the end if the week)!!!
Just thought I'd pass on a good deal that we've just got on a holiday...

We called into Chill Factore in Manchester on Sunday and Crystal Ski have now got permanent staff in there. Its currently 2for1 liftpasses but also included in the price, if you book before 30th November,is a years membership to the Chill Factore.

The membership gives you 30% of all lessons and lift tickets and is worth £100 for an annual membership.

We dont really use it but we have a complete beginner coming with us this year and I thought this would help anyone else who's not been before also. A full day's course is £170 so a saving of £51 to had, perfect to get you up and running before hitting the real stuff and then cheaper practice sessions.

Hope it helps someone else too!
I found this.

Not a pleasant thought at all that it has actually has happened to some poor people in the past.

Luckily it will never happen me as I'm guaranteed to be in the bar before the last lift :D

Quite randomly earlier today I saw a trailer for a new movie about three friends getting stuck on a chair lift at night.

It really doesn't like its for me as I'm a bit soft, also not recommended for anyone new to skiing/boarding

I'll not post the link to it just in case it puts anyone off or scares anyone, but if anyone does want it pm me.

I was in Tignes 12-19th December and the place was over run with boarders, more than I've ever seen in resort before, I was definitely in the minority as a skier much to my OH amusement!
