How's Feldberg??

Anyone hit Feldberg yet?

With the upcoming snow, I'm thinking about heading out there. Too close not to try!!

Not so far, but will be soon as this is the closest place of a reasonable size for me. I live in Karlsruhe. Not a huge place but there is enough for a couple of days at the weekend including a couple of challenging black runs. Drop me a line when you are thinking of heading down, might see you there (weekends only).

I'm really thinking about going this weekend. Probably Sunday. If I can get a friend or two to join me, I'll be out there. Hoping for some fresh powder from the upcoming storm!!!

Ah well, I am in Scotland till Sunday so unlikely to se you there

Gonna head for Grindelwald on the 15th for the weekend to see the Lauberhornrennen and get a couple ofdays sliding done. The weekend after is a very disting possibility.

BTW Southwest Germany are expecting a decent amount of snow over the next couple of days, more than is predicted here by all local sources http://www.j2ski.com/snow_forecast/Germany/Feldberg_snow.html

Yup. We've got 4 fresh inches with more to come all weekend. Gonna hit Feldberg Sunday!!

Feldberg was great! Nice soft snow, great weather (with a bit of fog from time to time), lots of boarders, and a decent drive. It was pretty crowded, but ok considering it was a weekend after a good snowstorm.

Will go back very soon!
