Okemo Mountain

The American ski resort of Okemo Mountain has direct access to 56km of downhill skiing, with 106 individual pistes, served by 16 ski lifts.

The skiing is at relatively low altitude, so snow cover can be variable.

Ski Lift Capacity :- The 16 Ski Lifts of Okemo Mountain are able to uplift 27,250 skiers / snowboarders per hour.

Skiing in Okemo Mountain

Every morning the first hour of lift operation is free so skiers and riders can evaluate the conditions before they purchase a lift ticket. Midweek (non-holiday) is from 9:00-10:00 am and 8:00-9:00 am on weekends and holidays. Convenient on-mountain ticketing areas are located at the Sugar House Lodge and Solitude Day Lodge, alleviating the need to return to the base area so skiers and riders can add few extra runs into their ski day.

Okemo's First Tracks introduction to skiing or snowboarding includes everything a beginner skier or snowboarder needs to get started on the slopes. First Tracks includes an introductory group ski or snowboard

lesson, complete rental equipment and unlimited use of Okemo's two lower mountain base quad chairlifts and teaching slope for an entire day - all for about the price of a one-day lift ticket. First time skiers and

snowboarders have the choice of one or two lessons a day with a First Tracks package.

Okemo's Mountain Ambassadors will provide free guided tours to intermediate and advanced skiers and riders on weekends and during holiday vacation weeks to acquaint guests with Okemo's vast lift and trail network. Mountain Tours leave promptly at 10:30 am from the on-mountain Guest Services Booth, located by the Sugar House Lodge. All that's needed is a lift ticket to join the tour group and become familiar with Okemo's incredible terrain, #1 ranked snow conditions and legendary service.

Other facilities include the Cutting Edge Learning Center, Demo Center, Okemo Valley Nordic Center with with 28 km cross-country, snowshoeing, ice skating, snow tubing and 18,000 square foot fitness centre..
