Diamond Peak is regarded as one of Lake Tahoe's best family ski centres, offering good value and superb views of the lake. The centre was much expanded in the early 1990s to double the terrain area and skiable vertical maximum, Cross country, skate skiing, snowshoeing and snow play areas are also available nearby

The American ski resort of Diamond Peak has direct access to 30 individual pistes, served by 7 ski lifts.
The ski resort itself is above 1500m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With pistes above 2500 metres, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.
Snowmaking :- Diamond Peak is able to augment natural snow, with 52 Snow Cannons.
Ski Lift Capacity :- The 7 Ski Lifts of Diamond Peak are able to uplift 7,900 skiers / snowboarders per hour.
