Devil's Head - American Ski Resort (150m to 300m)

Devil's Head is marketed as the Midwest's number one ski area, with the best snow making capability in the region, powered by more than 350 snow guns. The resort offers slopeside lodging and penthouse suites with whirlpool baths as well as gourmet dining and active nightlife options. On-mountain dining includes a Mexican Cantina offering 'Margarita of the mountain'. The resort added a new 9 hole golf course for 2001.

Devil's Head

The American ski resort of Devil's Head has direct access to 28 individual pistes, served by 15 ski lifts.

The skiing is at relatively low altitude, so snow cover can be variable.

Snowmaking :- Devil's Head is able to augment natural snow, with 352 Snow Cannons.

Ski Lift Capacity :- The 15 Ski Lifts of Devil's Head are able to uplift 15,800 skiers / snowboarders per hour.

There are two Airports within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Devil's Head are perfectly feasible. Madison Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.
