Alpine Meadows

The American ski resort of Alpine Meadows has direct access to 100 individual pistes, served by 12 ski lifts.

The ski resort itself is above 1500m, so skiing or boarding back to the resort is usually possible. With pistes above 2500 metres, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

Snowmaking :- Alpine Meadows is able to augment natural snow, with 94 Snow Cannons.

Ski Lift Capacity :- The 12 Ski Lifts of Alpine Meadows are able to uplift 16,000 skiers / snowboarders per hour.

There are two Airports within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Alpine Meadows are perfectly feasible. Reno Tahoe Airport is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Snowboarding in Alpine Meadows

Check out the Gravity Cavity half pipe and Roo's Ride Terrain Park. The half pipe is located where Red Trail and Green Trail meet at the base of Sympathy Face off Roundhouse Chair. The terrain park is accessible from the Kangaroo Chair. Both are built to accommodate skiers and snowboarders with a talent for going big and a flair for style.
