Skiing

Feldberg stands at an elevation of 1,493 meters, making it the highest peak in the Black Forest. The ski area offers notable pistes such as the 'Schwarze Piste' and 'Zeller Piste', along with efficient lifts like the 'Grafenmatt' and 'Bärental'.

Feldberg offers good sking, particularly, for Intermediate and Beginner skiers.

How to get there

 By Air

The nearest airport to Feldberg is Basel, 60 minutes drive away.

Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, Zurich, Strasbourg, Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden, Friedrichshafen, St. Gallen-Altenrhein, Berne, Munich and Stuttgart airports are all within three hours drive.

Basel is just one hours drive away, in good driving conditions, so you can be on the piste quickly.

Feldberg is easily accessible via the A5 motorway, with the nearest major city being Freiburg. The resort is also connected by public transport, making it convenient for visitors.

The 26 ski lifts are able to uplift 24,000 skiers and snowboarders every hour.

Season Dates

When is Feldberg open?

We don't currently have confirmed season dates, but hope to soon.

Usual opening is mid December (May open weekends from mid-November subject to snow conditions.), and usual closing is Early April.

NOTE:- Ski area, lift and piste opening is subject to Current Snow Conditions.

Aprés Ski

For après-ski, Feldberg offers a range of options including the cozy 'Bergstüble' and lively 'Schwarzwaldhaus'. Restaurants and bars provide a perfect atmosphere to unwind after a day on the slopes.
