The Vancouver Winter Olympics Games

there was so much great viewing, i dont know where to start!!

As a snowboarder, the snowboarding comes top of the list. Shaun White's run in the finals of the half pipe was class, but the Japanese rider was so stylish. Also have to mention that Ben Kilner from Scotland was very very close to qualifying for the finals (which is not bad for a country that doesnt have any half pipes!!). Brilliant effort.

I also love ice hockey so watched loads of that. Thought the US did very well to hang in there, but Canada deserved to win it. As for the skiing, it was great to see Bode finally get an Olympic gold, think he deserves it - such an exciting ski racer to watch.

The sliding centre also provided great tv, with the skeleton and bobsleigh in particular. Huge congratulations to AMy Williams, i'm sure she will get the heroes welcome when she comes back, and rightly so.

For me it was 1,The womens downhill - it was epic. 2,The mens ski cross was great viewing, 3, Amy Williams Gold - very well done and the Canadians and Americans protested about her helmet - even better! :D 4, Bode - getting his gold - brill.

According to the last message I received from Julia yesterday, the American TV networks are going bananas over her; she's appearing on chat shows nightly at the moment. 'El Gordo' doesn't seem to be getting a look-in!

I subscribed to Julias blog a couple of years back. I got posted her calendar last year. That was pleasant viewing.
