Sorel Boots

RoseR posted Feb-2010

While I was away last week I ended up with big problems with what I thought were comfy boots. So much so if I had carried on wearing them I doubt I would have been able to wear ski boots. Bought a pair of the above, in resort and I have to say they are the best, most comfiest, warmest pair of boots I have ever owned.

We live in Pac boots for four or five months of the year when outside. The modern womens pac boots are definately an aesthetic improvement on what was around ten years ago. Strangely enough, in the age of high tech materials, good old felt liners work very well. It's common to buy spare felt liners, so you have a dried out pair to put in the boots each morning. Old felt liners make great warm slippers for walking around the house. I have slip on Pac boots for driving to skiing, so I don't have to mess with laces. If you are doing any amount of walking the lace up type are better.

I have had a pair of Sorel Caribou for the last 4 years.
Best boots you can get in my opinion. They follow me on skiing holidays and I wear them on the plane as they're too big to go in the luggage.
In snow it's like having 4 wheel drive on your feet.
