:-)Hi all just looking for a good resort for nxt xmas just got back from Les Arcs and did courchevel last yr looking for a similar and as good as a resort any idea ne 1 thanks

I must admit i'm a bit biased on the Les Arcs side as it's my neck of the woods so too speak, La Plagne ,La Rosiere and Ste-Foy are all excellent ( Ste-Foy is best enjoyed if you have a car to try some of the other resorts in the area i think though, as it only has a relatively small ski area....although excellent for it's size).
Serre Chevaliere might also be worth a look, again its an excellent ski area with an attractive authentic feel about the town and is also a goo gateway to skiing in Italy for a day by travelling to Montgenevre and skiing over into Claviere in Italy.
Val and Tignes are also excellent resorts although now to being slghtly overdeveloped they have lost some of their charm and would be best visited during the low season weeks to avoid the crowds.
