Morning folks, newbie here!
We're flying in to Grenoble 6th Feb, and driving a hired Vauxhall Zafira (or similar!) to Les Deux Alpes. Now, I know Zafiras aren't reknowned for their snow handling ability, so should I be looking at chains? If yes, how do I go about getting them when we are over there as I obviously don't want to pay to take them on Ryanair.
Any help greatly appreciated,
Chris

The rental company should be able to supply them, albeit at a cost of course.
I would suggest that you pre-book them as well, just to be sure. Also check that you know how to use them before you depart the rental company, as there is nothing worse than being stuck at the side of the road in blowing, freezing snow, trying to work out how the chains fit the wheel.

canary_chris welcome to J2ski :D Just wot FQ says, and when you look at the chains, double check that they fit the wheel size on the car you are renting. Sizes will be on the label.
