I'm with you. It's a holiday. It's supposed to be enjoyable. Really good hotels make you feel comfortable and welcome whether you could afford to buy the place three times over or have saved up for a special occasion.
I'm off 13 March, leaving the kids at home. Obsessively watching webcams etc, normal behaviours.

For this trip Little W gets really spoilt at her Grand parents, they are completely knackered after six days looking after Little W but they do enjoy having her and they are also quite local so it does not interfere with her schooling, but they find it hard getting up at 07.30 to get her to school by nine, retired people a life of leisure. :mrgreen:

oh you guys are so lucky!!! no kids along,sounds like a great time!!
(Although 4 days straight skiing for my 8 year old was good for him...he out ski's me now..the crazy guy already is skiing double black diamond runs with bumps! (experts only)...and taking huge jumps...he is going to give me grey hairs..... :shock:
oh I have to add that the little bratty woke us up at 5am in the hotel to get out and ski!...it doesnt open till 8:30!
Have a peaceful relaxing ski holiday guys!

It is really great to see the gremlins enjoy themselves and the developing passion they have for skiing and the mountains, I get more fun out of it now then ever I did BC, before children :mrgreen:

I took Son One up with me on his own for the first time at Christmas, I had a lump in my throat seeing his excitement at 1st skiing with dad...
