As for world cups, Dave, will your nation every qualify past the first round? Or come to that, ever actually qualify again?

My nation Tony?

Ich bin ein Niederauer, oder ein Englander, oder Schottischer, Ich weiss nicht. Es macht nicht.

What is it with you posting in random foreign languages DM?

I think you'll find thats German, not the most random language I have experienced )

Dave is claiming he is from Niederau, which he isn't, and that he is an Englishman and a Scotsman, which isn't possible as you are one or the other, and then he says he doesn't actually know, and that it doesn't matter. I think thats known as hedging your bets, just in case Scotland don't qualify, again.

Oh well, at least he isn't Welsh and having to remember back to 1958 for when they last qualified for a major football tournament.

Well it actually happened old boy, yes in 1966 we "England" were champions of the world in Association football, and possibly again in 2010. 8) 8)

Maybe - but it's been said before.

Still, who knows? )

A true England supporter is ever optimistic, If there ever comes a time when I don't think "England " will win, I know it will be time to turn the tele off, I can't stop singing that three lions song now....come on England 8) 8) 8)

Most of my Austrian friends think my German is random.
But then, most of my English is too.

Yes I know that's German What about the other guff he was spouting the other day?
Nelly, that was my best Spanish. You know how to wound a guy.

I'm suffering from S.A.D., Wickers. Summer affected disorders. However, the dark nights loom. I have 2 weeks booked, and trying to get another two linked weeks, Switzerland and Austria. Still a few technical issues to resolve, but getting plenty of help from J2skiers.

It is true that I did not get a summer "N "visit in, but will make up for that this winter. 8)
