Hi, new to the forum. My girlfriend and I are attempting to go first time skiing this year but the soonest we can both book leave from work is 06/04/07 so we'd be spending about a week off somewhere.
My question is where would still have snow at that time of year? Somewhere near the French border might be easier to get to as flights to Lyon are cheap...ish.
I'm unsure so all suggestions and advice would be appreciated.

My question is where would still have snow at that time of year? We live in Scotland and direct flights to Munich from Edinburgh start that day so Austria may be easier. Having said that there are plenty of flights to Lyon at that time also so I'm not ruling the French/Swiss border out either.
I'm unsure so all suggestions and advice would be appreciated.
