This photo was taken by Felthorpe at the end of dinner. I am down the end of the table, and the guy 2nd from the right is not one of us - he was the only 'stranger' in the chalet and he was the father of one of the chalet girls.

The chalet was really well built, with quality furniture - like these lovely tables :)




This is Ade and me, in the sitting room area, taken after dinner by Felthorpe :)

There were 2 adjoining seating areas, with plenty of room for all of us to sit comfortably together whilst we chatted :)

This is Nick, one of our 2 beginners. He learned to ski amazingly quickly, and was ski-ing parallel down a tricky blue run by the time I skied with him on Thursday :)

This is one of CatP's photos, taken with her phone. It's the Tete de Solaise restaurant, above Val d'Isere, at 2560m.
It's got great views, and has a bar outside, and the restaurant inside.
I was up there on Wednesday, having a hot chocolate with Old Andy, after going down the Face run in our little group with Bonjour Andy. The hot chocolate was a large one and cost me 6 euros, but it was well worth it for the view and a chance to sit down in a deck chair and enjoy the sun :)

He's not totally sure but he thinks he took it on the Grattalu piste.
