Hi Jan,
Me and my 'other' are looking for a boarding holiday with an intermediate environment. Could realistically do with spending less than £200 each for flights and accomodation, is that possible? We've got all our own gear so the only thing we'd need to buy would be the passes. Thanks :D |

Hi all,
I am a tax dodging student and will miss the local rugby teams skiing trip in March this year as i cannot afford it. So i am looking for the cheapest holiday EVER anywhere in Europe but as i never book the holiday i don't really know where to look so i was looking for some advice on where would give me the best deal. I am loooking for a bog standard self-catering place for two of us. Anything that will get me out on the slopes, I cannot miss a year! It would be like torture, I'd rather go on holiday with the McCann's than miss a year! So if anyone could help it would be much appreciated. Cheers all! x |

Hi Macca, I went to Alpe D'Huez last February with a group of about 35. There was a wide range of ability with the skiers and boarders and the place just suits everyone down to the ground. For the beginners they can just stay in the DMC and the intermediate/experienced can go all the way to the top (3330m) on Le Pic Blanc and Ski the worlds longest run - Le Sarenne (16KM) or Le Tunnel if you dare!!!!!
There are plenty of great pubs and restaurants, which is something high up on our list as the majority of our party are rugby playing maniacs. So if you do decide to go there you will have a fabulous time. Hope this helped. Josh V :) |
