Tiger7 first thing in the morning, by the Sache Gondola:



Tiger7 worn out after ski-ing with Felthorpe, Mr F, Old Andy, Sinbad14, Brooksy, Far Queue, and Daved :lol:



According to my spreadsheet poor Tiger7 had only done 3 weeks of ski-ing before the others dragged him all over the resort :wink:

Actually, he had a really great time and his ski-ing has really improved, and he's desperate to get back out on the snow this season :-)

This is where Felthorpe slipped under the fence when the snow gave way as she was ski-ing past :shock:

It's on the blue run that goes down into Les Brevieres. This run has several different minor routes which all end up in the same place - and this is on a steep-ish short cut.

Luckily she was OK thanks to the help provided by some of her fellow J2Skiers :)

This is Sinbad14's photo of Old Andy and Felthorpe outside their favourite mountain restaurant - La Savouna - on the Combe piste above Tignes 2100.




And I've marked the restaurant on the Tignes piste map. You can reach it by going up the Palafour chair-lift.

This is one of Sinbad14's photos. I was the first one up the Sache gondola that morning :)
If you look you can see that the bar/pole is still up.

It opened every morning bang on 9 a.m., apart from on the last Sunday when all the main lifts were about an hour late opening whilst they made the pistes safe from avalanche (but the chairlift up to Les Boisses opened so I went up that instead).

Some of the other members of the group were waiting just below me. As I said elsewhere, there were no huge queues in the morning for this lift, and in fact I didn't have to queue for lifts anywhere in the whole Espace Killy during the whole week, except a few minutes for the funicular out of Val d'Isere :)
