Having holidayed with good friends before now, it's certainly a tricky co-ordination exercise.
Ally's "where everyone is going and when" idea is great though (on the sleeps to ski time topic). Perhaps some kind of permanent sticky for this could be set up. Then people can see where people have booked and may be able to meet up, even if only for one or two day's joint skiing. Therefore no massive commitment and if people don't hit it off no big deal. Has this been formally requested through the feedback thing? **edit** it has and I've voted |

Judging by our trip to Les Arcs 1950 in Mid march 2011, it's likely to be pretty warm at 1800m. Personally, I would go for Tignes and you can easily cross over to Val d'isere as well.

ah...if you just want my amazing design then I would ask you to deal with Saatchi & Saatchi. They handle many of my brands.
Ask for Ptolemy. |

ermmmm....not sure I was volunteering to be the j2ski resident t shirt designer!
I simply went to zazzle.co.uk and uploaded some graphics. They would charge about £15 for a design like this with discount and delivery. |

It's very interesting building up a total cost for a holiday, especially one that involves skiing and everything that goes with it.
We've just booked our first catered chalet for new year. It's not exactly cheap but they are very happy for people to check in early (even including breakfast!) and leave their bags in the chalet to allow skiing that day. On the last day, again we can leave our bags in the chalet and ski until 4pm and may even be allowed to have a shower before heading off. I have to admit that I'm not a fan of tour operator holidays but can see the benefit that it is a "one stop shop" exercise. I did briefly entertain a Nielson holiday last year but was most unimpressed when I was told that the weekly cost was circa £150 more pp than the brochure stated. |

I've just laughed out loud whilst perusing an internet forum......a relatively rare event. Thanks snapzzz. :D You'd better don your new trousers and jacket in case you're sleeping in the shed tonight. |

Flights booked. £80 pp return from Liverpool to Geneva, Sun 30 Dec. By far the cheapest flight I've booked in my life! (and I'm going back to 1987!)
Holiday starting to feel like better value now...... |
