I can believe that.
It has been a bad year here in BC. Many back country snowmobilers have also lost their lives this year .

Sad case last week (not with avalanche but with failed rescue) . A husband and wife skied out of bounds and were lost. The husband wrote a huge SOS in the snow...a plane saw it..told the RCMP.. and the RCMP did nothing....I believe 9 days later the wife was dead. Very sad .
