Is that the only correct answer? Am I allowed to meet up with my friends and enjoy sitting around a table with them for an hour or so?

Obviously I'm doing it for the benefit of people who take short lunches so as to get the slopes to themselves

I take it back. I meant that spending a long time over a big lunch is IMO not a good way of spending time. Usually I ski with my friends, so we dont need to meet up, so stopping for lunch is a group decision, and usually takes around 40 minutes and involves guhlasch suppe, spag bol, or something that offers instant energy! That, and a nice fizzy drink to boost the sugar levels.

I guess if you dont ski with your friends its nice to meet up, although thats what I thought people used apres drinks for. I must admit, I do like to have a little break if its nice and sunny, especially 20 minutes in a sun chair 8)

I guess you must need to rest those old legs ~Tony
