Cost - bought OH a new laptop, a lot more kit for the money than a Mac Book.

Thats a common argument but i just do not see it that way. Its not just about hardware cost, its about the whole experience. For me OSX is a pleasant experience and i 'enjoy' using it. Everything is seamless and makes PCs (software) feel so awkward and hard work.

My new Mac has NO cd drive, NO Ethernet port and NO hard drive and will cost 3-4x the average laptop and i can't bloody wait.

NOOOOOOOOO! four weeks ago? they were all updated last night. You should have waited. :( :( :(

I left the PC world about 10 years ago mate. I hate them.
I wouldn't have anything but Macs in my house now. I have had my MacBook pro around 3/4 years and needed to replace it. The new ones look awesome. Can't wait

SwingBeep wrote:Snapzzz, If you look in the archive you will see that the chairs were there at 06:30 this morning but had gone by 09:30 and were back again at 17:30 so they are probably being used to carry maintenance staff up the mountain. If they left them out all summer the hoods eventually get so badly scratched that it wouldn't be possible to see through them so they would have to be replaced and if it got very windy this would happen

Indeed they are/were. Well spotted. It looks as if there are half a dozen on there. Maybe they keep just those on full time for maintenance as you suggest.
I do apologize.

Someone better tell them in ADH then. If you look at the link posted earlier it clearly shows a hooded 6 pack fully assembled.
