Yeah the day before is the norm for me to but this time i've just packed the bags as i washed all the gear from the last trip.

I brought a cheap version of a cragghopper pole ,cost £5 from ebay and it did the job in Val Thorens last week

Yeah,the Manchester Alps is a little known secret passed on through generations but i thought it was about time everyone else knew about it .
