As I said, I was tired and fed up when looking through the sites so didn't even look at it properly and yes, that was stupid. Thanks again to to those of you who have provided constructive advice and for the person who has found it funny, I am glad that you have been able to gain something from my situation even if it has just been a laugh at my expense!!!

Thank you all so much and of course you have confirmed what I was already thinking. I contacted my credit card company last night. As Charlie says "if it looks too good to be true then it probably is". The purchase was a product of fatigue having trawled through many sites trying to find a jacket that my teenage daughter would actually wear. Had I looked at the site properly I would have seen immediatley that it was very dodgy! Lesson learned. I am determined not to let it overshawdow my first proper ski trip. Thank you all again.

I ordered two jackets from this online store about twelve days ago and I am starting to feel extremely uneasy as to whether or not I will ever receive them.

Hello, I am totally new to skiing and have booked a trip to Poiana Brasov on 30 January. I selected Poiana because the reports I have read of the ski school seem very positive (I am not expecting much from resort or accommodation although it looks pretty), only downside is I am a little worried about snow levels as anybody been out there recently. Thank you all for the really helpful replies. The ski wear package I have seen is on the Ski & Trek website, Trespass or Dare2b are the manufacturers. Some of the packages are currently half price and range between £99 to about £50. They include as a minimum jacket and ski pants but some also include gloves and a base layer. It seems like good value but I am not familiar with the manufacturer and want to make sure that we are warm enough (praying there will be lots of snow). I will head to TK tomorrow.

My daughter and I are going skiing for the first time at the end of January and we don't want to spend a fortune on ski wear. There are some very reasonable deals on ski clothing packages, ie jacket, pants, gloves and under layer but is this false economy? Any advice would be appreciated.
